17th August 2015: Unfortunately Mr Brindley has been taken into the BRI having suffered a stroke. Please see the T&A website here: 'Bradford Jesus Man' Geoffrey Brindley critically ill after suffering a stroke in stairs fall
24th May 2013: It's been a while since I last posted anything here but then again there's not really been any news. He's still going strong and there's a steady stream of sightings being reported.
30th April 2012: He's not dead. STOP EMAILING ME! I ALREADY KNOW!
29th April 2012: There are a lot of rumours (from differet sources) that Mr Brindley sadly died yesterday. The majority say he had a heart attack, one even stating the time of 5.37pm. I have not been able to confirm the validity of these! Plus, people have reported sightings today!
21st March 2012: Sightings and Submissions are now separate! You can view all the sightings of BJM without having the submission form in the way. Click on any icon on the map and the sighting details will be shown below the map. Enjoy!
18th March 2012: You probably won't even notice but I've improved the Facebook sharing code so it should be more streamlined now!
10th January 2012: OK, I've added various icons across the site for sharing with Facebook, Twitter and Google+. You can now share a sighting with your friends in from the map itself (click the Jesus Man icon then click one of the social network icons in the info window), from the recent sightings list and from the area list.
9th January 2012: Just fixed an issue with sharing your sighting via Facebook! I will also be adding an easy way to share existing sightings too.
21st September 2011: The video of my talk at BettaKultcha is now online. Click here to watch it and maybe learn something new! I will upload the slides and transcript once I have a bit more time.
3rd August 2011: We now have an RSS feed of the sightings via http://bradfordjesusman.co.uk/feed.php . Enjoy!
2nd August 2011: We've now added a 'geo-fence' to the sightings map. Any submissions outside this area (darkened on the map) will be rejected. If, however, you did genuinly see him outside of this area then you will need to contact us with all the details and we will manually add it. Unfortunately we were receiving silly sightings all over the world...
31st July 2011: The Facebook campaign to get the BJM as an Olympic Torchbearer currently has just short of 12,000 members! Get over there and join in the fun!
21st July 2011: We received an email from Mark Bokowiek who informed us that BJM's real name is Geoffrey Brindley. Apparently his sister did an essay on him during the 60's during her teacher training. We're trying to see if we can get hold of a copy of the essay in question!
We have also added 'List by Date' and 'Group by Postcode' to the Sightings options.
10th March 2011: With more submissions coming in we've picked up on a few bugs which have now been succesfully squished! Hooray for website code!
22nd November 2010: The website is now live! Have fun submitting your sightings and remember to pass the word around.
